Event ID 11 needs triage to identify the port

Can anyone please tell me how I can identify which Sata port would be for Even ID: 11?
"The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort2."

The motherboard is SATA2 and the drives are configured as AHCI.

The ports are configured as follows:

Sata1: Sandisk 120Gb SSD boot drive
Sata2: Seagate Baracuda 500GB data drive
    Sata3: Unused
    Sata4: HL-DT DVDRAM ATA device
    Sata5: Unused
    Sata6: Unused

This error randomly appears after boot but not at each boot and sometimes days go by before it reappears. The Win 7 Pro is a fresh installation and every MS update has been applied. The controller driver is the latest update from Intel (thorough Microsoft update).

    Thanks

It seems that in an all SATA environment, \Device\Ide\IdePort refers to the CD-DVD drive. Installed another disk drive and the disks are in the same order as the SATA port numbers identified by the BIOS as 1 to 4 and moved the CD-DVD to port 4 on the MB. Immediately, I got an Event ID 11 of \Device\Ide\IdePort04 error
