Power supply cord question

So my power supply used to have this cord:

imgbox - fast, simple image host

But I moved to a different country which uses the Type F (according to this: Plug & socket types - World Standards)

The only thing I noticed is that the old (original) power cord that came with the PSU, 10A 125 V was written on it. The new one I bought to fit the sockets here, has like 16A 250V written on it. Will it be okay to use that? Or will it cause problems on my PSU or PC?

Thanks!

hi you should be fine I think that power supply auto detects ac voltage some power supplies their is a switch you move to tell what input voltage your connecting too.

One thing to keep in mind: based on the page you linked, type F cables are compatible with type C, E, & F sockets. But type C sockets aren't grounded, so make sure you never plug in to one of those.

This afternoon I started hearing a noise from a fan. Not real loud but it was just louder than usual. I took the cover off and it is the Power Supply fan that is making the noise. Everything still works OK, but just curious if this has happened to any of you and if you think this might be the...

Power cord question

Power Supply Question
I just got a new 500 watt power supply. The old one was overheating. The new one has a switch for a normal fan or turbo fan. The temperature runs around 48 C most of the time but has spikes up to 70 C (I have a temperature monitor software). When I put it on Turbo the system stays nice and cool all...
