Hello and welcome Jean mate some system specs would be very helpful we cannot help if we do not know just what we are working with System Info - See Your System Specs

Now my first thought is that you need to update the USB drivers - assuming you are using a wired mouse?? but without the specs we are not able to direct you to where you can find them

On the mouse, there is a name, such as GMX-1

When plug into USB, there is no connection
Google and find an USB driver, install and it works.

But another laptop, without installing that USB driver (.exe file), this mouse work

So it all depend on the laptop.

Btw, both laptops are using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

Laptop = Toshiba -> unable to detect; Sony is able to detect, without driver or .exe file.

    So, this do happened.
Google and search for the driver or .exe file to activate the mouse.

Yes Eric but I was more interested in the specs because we don't know what that machine is and I think the OP needs to update or redo the USB / chipset set up.
