Not fixed, still doing it
Just an update, i have a PCI-E add in card with 4 USB 3 ports on it, that has also stopped working now, I have reseated it several times and it is continuously dead, so is it possible the Motherboard is failing?
I have just checked and it is just over 2 years old now
having removed the PCI-E card, i noticed a Sata Power socket on the end and have now connected this up and it seems to have solved the problem, will check tomorrow morning as well, before marking as solved as that was only unplugged in the case move and was connected before when i had the problem.
Also my OCZ Agility SSD 60GB has now vanished from windows so maybe that failing was something to do with it
Nope, still doing it
Also did the unthinkable 2 nights ago and updated the BIOS, went fine but still the same problem
Updated my system specs

Sorry, I know nothing about W-10.
Your specs.
Computer type PC/Desktop
System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom
OS Windows 10 Home x64
CPU Intel Core i5 Quad CPU 4440
ok, thanks, although i'm quite sure it's nothing to do with Windows as it happens just after POST and before any of the HDDs are accessed
Nope, It just means i have to stay with the PC after pressing the power button the 1st time, after the 2nd time it just carries on as normal
I have personally seen this behavior on several Gigabyte branded boards.....both AMD as well as Intel based. You might try to contact Gigabyte about the issue.
It may be something else....hard to tell exactly. This just has been my experience.
