I've read through a number of posts already for an issue related to mine but I couldn't find one, so forgive me if this is already posted somewhere.
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit Build 7600
And the issue I'm having is with my Belkin F5D8053 V3011 Wireless N Adapter
For some odd reason the rest of the computers in my house have a good connection to the network, but when I try to connect, I get pings in excess of 2000 on a very regular basis to even the most basic of sites (google).
I can connect, I can use it, but everything is horribly slow and boggish. This only started earlier this week after having Windows 7 installed for a week. Any ideas?
PS. I am not the only wireless adapter in the house, I am simply the only one with issues.
Hi and welcome
I will bet you are running homegroup with mixed XP, vista amd win 7 machines, right?
Homegroup utilizes IPv6 which is know to cause random drops, slow downs, flaky connections in mixed machine networks
If you want to change it go into where you set up networing in the first place.Kill the homegroup and you can change from homegroup to workgroup
Let us know if you need nelp with any of this
