External hard drive- not initialized, allocated

Hello,
first of all I would just like to point out that I am not a native speaker so I apologize in advance for the mistakes I might make.
I have a problem with my external hard drive. The drive is Verbatim 47512. Last year I unplugged the drive without safely removing it first. When I plugged it in again it asked me to format the drive. As I didn't wanna loose my files I tried using Recuva and it worked. However, the process took too long and I was leaving for ten months the next day so I had to stop the process. I wanted to continue when I got back but the drive wasn't working at all. I couldn't even turn it on. I kept trying and after some time it started to work again. When I plug it in, I can't find it in my computer. But I can find it in the disk management. I'm attaching a picture, it says it's uninitialized and that it needs to be initialized. I don't know what it means and I'm scared it might delete my files. It also says that it's allocated and unknown. https://postimg.org/image/zci27fe6h/
I downloaded MiniTool Partition Wizard and it says that my disk is bad. I don't know how to proceed, can you please help me? Or should I give up?

MiniTool Power Data Recovery includes a partition recovery, if memory of the free version serves me. I have the pay-for. You need a few uninterrupted, un-hurried, hours of your time, pick such a time. Please stop unplugging things in a hurry and shutting off programs of recovery in a hurry. That hurry-ness is not going to serve recovery efforts well.

So I should click on the Partition Recovery Wizard? Because when I do that, it scans for a while and then it stops and takes me back here https://s3.postimg.io/mkjzqz85f/Bez_n_zvu.jpg

Local flooding caused cancellation of appointments. In this thread, for this situation new to me, I'm going to be in listening mode and learn from others.

I shouldn't say suddenly. It's a 2TB drive I had in an enclosure that took a bump off a short table the other day. It seemed fine when I tested it and pulled up all the folders.
