How to save my printer ink?
Thank you,
Hi:
We need a bit more information in order to better assist you.
The make and model of the printer would be a good place to start.
Thanks,
MM
I'm using a laser Cannon LBP6030 18L XPS. Thank you in advanced.
This is your model - Cannon LBP6030
What do you print?
Check your user manual to see if your printer has this feature.
Toner Saving Mode - When the imageCLASS LBP6000 is switched into the toner saving mode, it allows for up to a 20% more economical toner usage.
1. Use smaller Font.
2. Don't print bold type unless absolutely needed. (Uses a lot of ink)

Hi:
^^ Excellent advice ^^
One other thing might be to check the Canon website to see if there is a firmware update for the printer.
Manufacturers sometimes issue a firmware update designed to improve performance.
Having said that, if it exists, it probably does NOT cause the printer to use LESS toner...
The printer manufacturers make their $$ not from the hardware, but from the ink/toner.
So, they would prefer that we use more ink, not less.
Cheers,
MM
