    Showing only 1gig of ram

I just installed windows 7 x64 and it says I only have 1gig of ram when I have 2 gigs. Is it performing at only 1gig of ram right now?

where are you seeing this total? In task manager, bios, etc

Open task manager and click on the preformance tab. what does it show as the total?

You may need to go into BIOS and change the max ram from 1 to 2 gigs

Let us know if we can help

    Check your ram placement.
