    HP LaserJet P1102 printer printing black pages


    Hello
    I refilled my HP Laser Jet P1102 catridge (its black and white printer) from local shop couple of weeks ago.

    it was printing fine until today today it started printing black pages that you can see in attach image

    i went to local computer shop with the catridge, they printed test page from it fine on their printer, when i come home my printer still printed black pages, then i called the shop and they said it might be my printer hardware problem

    Hi KF,
    more likely the software drivers are corrupt.

    Uninstall the program, use Revo uninstaller.
    REBOOT

    reinstall the software.

    My Canon did the same thing awhile back, twice; I completely uninstalled the printer, removed the drivers; re-installed from scratch; back to regular printing again.

    i printed from another computer but all in vain

    however i will give driver re installation a try

    I just now remembered something, do you have a scanner attached to the computer, and the computer sends printing assignments to the printer? Or, is the scanner attached directly to the printer? Reason for asking: I might have missed the point earlier! My scanner was "making" the printer print all black pages; for that specific problem, I had to remove the scanner and drivers completely, Restart, reinstall scanner drivers, restart, and for some time now -- all is well.
