    Water on keyboard......

This is for an HP Envy laptop. So I spilled water on my keyboard and after 2 hours of drying the buttons were all crossed. I put the keyboard face down on a heater(it doesn't get hot) and though none of my buttons are crossed, some don't work. "ASDF, Y, [,], J"......... Everything else works fine and as of right now I am using a cheap 10$ USB keyboard.

What do I do from here?

Give it a day or two. If still bad it will require replacing the keyboard.

turn it upside down and shake it, then tip to one corner and see if water drips out

leave in warm place for couple days and see if it working, sometimes they dry out

If it Pepsi or coffee not always so lucky or anything with sugar in it

You can take the keyboard apart and soft cloth dry if you know what your doing this will speed things up a lot, but still give drying time day or so, depends how much water and where

If it's just plain water. Stand the laptop on its end and put a fan in front of it for a couple of days.

If it`s still not working properly, buy a new keyboard, I got a new one on Ebay for an HP Probook for $20

But I would see if HP has one for sale 1st.
