| | Windows 7 - Other Devices - Coprocessor I've noticed this before in the device manager, but never really worried about it. Now it's just gnawing at me. Anyway idea what this is? And where to find a driver? Oh, I'm using an Acer Aspire M1640. |

Is it "unknown" (has a yellow triangle on it)? If you want to check its status you can right click the device and go to properties. If installed coreectly it will say working properly. Ken J++ |

| | Yeah it has a yellow triangle on it, I knew there was no driver installed for it for a while, well when I first installed 7. First place I went to the device manager. Anyway, it says "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) " And when I update the driver says driver not found or whatever. |

| | Yeah the SMU driver did it. Oh and btw, do you have any tips for finding drivers for my computer for xp. GPU is no problem but the rest, not so much. |

As for your XP drivers...it will be a challenge...we have the GPU, chipset, and possibly the Audio drivers covered...but nothing else If you look at Acer's website...they give you nothing for XP Acer Support - Drivers & Download |
