help:need to lower CPU Utilization

CPU Utilization:Processor utilization is high
The average processor utilization during the trace was high. The system will consume less power when the average processor utilization is very low. Review processor utilization for individual processes to determine which applications and services contribute the most to total processor utilization.

i ran an energy report ( through elevated command prompt) and this came up high, is there any way i can adjust this? im runnin w7 home premium on a laptop, i think if i adjust this it might affect my battery life in a good way that is

The best way to reduce CPU utilization is identify the most resource-intensive programs. Get rid of anything you don't use. Security programs are usually pretty high up there. I recommend using Microsoft Security Essentials, as it is pretty lightweight.
