HD's not seen by SpeedFan or others...

    Hi, everyone!

First i specify that i have absolutely no problems with my hard drives, but i used to check temperatures with "SpeedFan" and the general state with "HD Sentinel" when i ran XP.

Now i run 7 and i can't do this anymore... Even not Smart Function...

I tried "Everest", HDD Temp" and "Hardware Sensors Monitors" but no way...
It seems sensors are not located...

    Does anyone have an idea???

    Thanks for any opinion!!!

Edit : of course i downloaded the last version...

Check your BIOS for any settings relating to S.M.A.R.T. Make sure it is enabled for all drives.

What BIOS do you have, do you know? You can find out by watching the screen when you first start up the computer.

It should be in the main tab- the first one. Near the bottom. If not, then press Pause during the POST.

    Hi all!

Well, here i'm back on this thread cause i finally understood the problem...
I just have to run applications as "Speedfan" or "Everest" as admin!!! That's all...
When i ran XP, i was always as admin, and here, with 7, i had choosen a simple user account...

I hope this will maybe help someone... ...someday!

Thanks to anyone who has thought about this and so long, folks!!!

EDIT : Please tell me if i have to close the thread, and how...
