Visioneer Strobe XP450 sheet fed scanner compatibility

I can't get it to work on a windows 7 64 bit HP computer w 8 gb ram. Visioneer says they have no plans to create a compatible driver.

Any Suggestions?

yes, did not help - The scanner seems to install and is listed in the device manager but every time I try to scan using MS office 07 document scanner or Paperport 12 I get an "XP 450 hardware internal fault" error. I also tried Vuescan and it just hangs in neverland when I try to scan.

In layman's terms please explain Column Address Strobe Latency in RAM
I'm looking to buy new DDR3 memory but I am totally puzzled by the CAS Latency and the numbers.... It seems like the difference between a stick of DDR3 with 11 11 11 and 7 7 7 is only measured in nanoseconds, so how would the end user, we humans actually notice the difference between these...

Printing Excel-sheet

The thing is, when I print an Excel-file I prepared the print is real tiny, almost unreadable as if the sheet should be divided into 6 or 7 pages rather than the 3 pages that I have somehow managed to get it down to. It...
