W-7 Pro does NOT see /recognize a Drive.

I have tried many different Apps to try and see the drive.
    None worked!

Is it possible the drive is / was initialized by another O/S like Linux?
If so, is there a Windows App that will look at a Linux drive and potentially cause it to be erased and available to be Formatted for Windows?

If you want to reformat the drive, you can use Windows Disk Management. Just delete the drive, and format it, or reclaim the space by extending the main drive (if possible). Disk Management has a help menu to guide you in these steps.

Windows apparently does not see Linux drives. Linux can see Windows drives, and you can use it to do all sorts of things, such as copy Windows documents back and forth between the two systems; format, shrink or extend partitions, etc. However, you probably don't want to get into Linux.
