    Magicjack and Sleep


    The computer goes into sleep in 10 seconds. Awesome.

    Logon screen in literally 4 seconds from when I first touch a key/move the mouse. Awesome.

    Magicjack disconnecting the physical phone line, but still functioning 100%. Not Awesome.

    Any ideas on why this might occur?

    How does sleep mode affect power to USB and is there a way to adjust this?

    Even doing a soft reset (Restart Magicjack under Advanced in the Menu) does not fix this issue.

    Any ideas?

    my laptop will not play a sound after going to sleep while magicjack is connected...

I have lost http (browser only) connectivity. Neither IE 9 nor FireFox 6 nor Chrome can reach any websites, However, MagicJack and Skype work fine which, to me, means that the box's internet protocol is fine. What can I do to fix that problem ?

Windows 7 is unable to run a MagicJack. When installing the driver it is recognized under the heading of "software and games" of which it is neither. Sure wish Windows 7 was smart enough and had a category for "internet telephone service".
