Windows 7: a few pen related questions, please help

I have a wacom tablet with windows 7.
Originally it works great, i can press & hold to get that ring for right click, and the tablet pc input panel appears only when my pen is in range, but it's suddenly gone somehow.

now nothing happens when i press & hold, i can only do right click with hover click the button on the pen. And the tablet pc input panel is always on, either on so i can use it, or off totally.

i have no clue why the press & hold ring is gone, but i see the tablet pc input panel "Show the tab even when the pen is out of range" option is greyed.

turns out the new driver doesn't work, reinstall fixed it. sorry for the post.
