Do you need 1.5TB, or is 1 enough?

1tb is enough but 1.5tb is good also.

I recommend buying the 1TB HD. Storage will only get cheaper as time goes on. Of course, it is always a good idea to have a little more storage than you think your could use; something will always come up, and you will be wishing you had a little more.

If you need 1TB, more than likely you'll need more so get 1.5TB and the fact that you won't ever get the full 1TB (rather something like 970GB or so) :) Go Seagate.

    SEAGATE BARRACUDA 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB SATA2

    and

    WESTERN DIGITAL 1TB WD1002FBYS RE3 SATA2

are 7200 RPM, and because the spin rate is not mentioned in the others, I would suspect that they are 5200 or 5400.
