Compatability questions

I'm currently in the process of building a new pc, and currently running Windows 7 evaluation copy. i have Windows 7 ultimate but i'm waiting to finish my build before i install. i want this pc to go together smoothly, and was wondering if anyone can tell me if this motherboard and processor are compatible, i hear that with newer phenomII processors and asus motherboards that some are not mechanically compatable, something about AM+2 and +3? mobo Newegg.com - ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards processor Newegg.com - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops can anyone recommend a mobo that will mesh well with that processor for around the same price'ish, 20$ 30$ here or there not a big deal, i'm upgrading from 2g ram to 4g and i'm just trying to find things that are all compatible. i hear win 7 should really but run w/ 4g ram, i know i'm getting the following DDR3 ram Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL - Desktop Memory
