Windows 7 - Can't get PTP & wireless printing to work in Windows 7

On a brand new Toshiba Satellite L500 I am running Windows 7 and trying to install the US Robotics 5436 wireless printer server for my HP Photosmart D7160. In Windows Explorer using the http://192... address I can find the printer and even print a test page. However under Control Panel it won't appear in the Add Printers list. I then forced added by using the TCP/IP address (using the http://192... address). But then the test page won't print. When I tried to install the PTP driver I get the infamous Err 1805 message. I downloaded and ran the RegCure which apparently cleaned up a bunch of errors. Re-ran the PTP installation and still got the Err 1805 error. I've been at this the last 4 hours and am extremely frustrated by this (not to mention the fun had trying to get the administrator running even though I am the only user on this machine....).
Any solutions or do I just have to look for a new wireless printer server or worse give up on wireless printing in Windows 7?
