Flashing black lines on second monitor.

    Flashing black lines on second monitor.


    Okay so i have a problem thats gone on for the past month and its really starting to get on my nerves, My second monitor start getting black flashing lines and the whole screen kinda flashes too, it happens when a game loads, or when i highlight something, or when i watch a movie, Etc. Sometimes it even just randomly does it. Anyone have any ideas?

    Maybe the first place to check is the device manager, for updated drives.

    The second might be the event viewer, to see if any problems are reported.

    Third might be perfomance monitor in the control panel under adminstrative tools.

    Can it actually be the monitor?

    Well most likely it is software, the source of most of the problems, reported here. Check out the areas that I outlined, then we can see where we should go next.

    What make & model of monitor? Does it have a menu button on the monitor to change the refresh rate ?

    monitor is in my spec its a polyview v17d and no my pc controls its refresh rate, ive tried, 60,70,75. Should i force one?
