    RAM


    hello,
    I have bought a new laptop and they say that it's RAM is DDR3
    but how I can check in windows 7
    I have opened dxdiag but they didn't write in it whether it DDR2 nor DDR3
    so any idea to get that info
    I need to check

    Yeah with CPU-Z it'll show you what your ram is running at.

    Thanks guys,
    but it says that the DRAM Frequency: 399.0Mhz shouldn't be 1333 or more because it's DDR3

    which model is your laptop? I know A505-S6980 & A505-S6984 are DDR2. Only the A505-S6981 is DDR3

    why don't you just pop the cover on the bottom and look at it.

    It's Toshiba A505-S69803 from best buy
    actually in that program it's says that my RAM is DDR3, but the frequency thing is 399

    Which means your RAM is running at 800mhz
    or more specifically, 399*2 = 798Mhz
    So if its specs were 800mhz RAM, its exactlly what they say it is.
