    Blank CDs/DVDs not recognised

Today I burned a couple DVDs with movies, and wanted to burn the third one, but after inserting it nothing happened (autoplay is on), so I clicked on the drive icon, and saw this:
The disc is OK, other computer opens it. I tested some others DVD-R, DVD+R, CD-R, but I get same message. However, discs that contain files are recognised and everything is fine with them, just blank ones can't get opened.
    What the..?

EDIT: restarted PC, now it looks fine. Just wondering, why this happened? Was that a DVD drive problem or Windows bug or what?

    Hello,

I recently had that problem myself. I had the laborious chore of making 2 copies of 6 CDs on a home-sized computer for my church. After I burned about 10 CDs, the problem arose. I waited 3 minutes and it went away. Perhaps the burner got too hot or something?

Hmm, that might be true. Cause I remember, after inserting the blank DVD and after it wasn't recognised it got hot as if it was just burned
