HP G60, Windows 7, and touchpad

I just recently got Windows 7 and I'm loving it, but there's just one issue I've encountered and I can't seem to get help..
My laptop has a button by the touchpad you can use to disable it..shown here:

It always worked fine with Vista but now when I upgraded I can't seem to get it to work. It's not a very major issue and I can live with this problem if there is no resolution, but it's just a little bit annoying and if there's a way to fix it I'd like to.

Thank you all so much :)
    Happy Holidays!

hey, just wanted to let you know, i had the EXACT same problem as you. It was just a driver issue, but it was a pain to find the right driver. Dont get any of the ones from the synaptics website, go to the hp website, go to the page for your specific computer and version of windows, than scroll down till you find the driver for the touchpad. Even if you have a newer version installed already, delete it, and install the one from hp, and that should do it
