    How do I mount a Mac USB drive?


    I am in the process of getting rid of my MacBook, and I used Apple's Time Machine to create a full backup onto a Mac-formatted external USB hard drive. I would now like to be able to read the files on a Windows 7 machine, however when I plug in the drive, Windows 7 doesn't show it in My Computer. When I start up Drive Manager, it requests that I initialize the drive. I don't to do anything like that because I don't want to lose the data.

    Any suggestions?

    If the drive isn't formatted for a PC to read, and is in the native Mac HFS format, then you will need a utility such as MacDrive to allow the PC to read the drive.

Okay, i'm guessing that this will be an easy one. I have four drives from a dead NAS that I want to recover data from. The drives are all okay from what I can see. I have one mounted here in an enclosure and I can see it in the Control Panel. All four discs appear the same way when I connect...
Drive mount alternatives

I setup some drives as mounts but they do not display the real drives size in explorer, instead displaying the size of the drive they are mounted on. Is there some option for this, or an alternative? Maybe I don't know how to google? I'm guessing it's just the way it is....
I've been racking my brain on this problem for a while now and figured I'd throw this situation out to the crowd to see what kind of ingenious answers I could get to this problem. I have a failed hard drive that I'd like to send back to get replaced but obviously want all my data wiped first....
Hello I know its a bit noobish question but I dunno how to do what program I should use ? It must support windows 7 x64
