    Wireless Mouse Issues?

So, I got my laptop for christmas and it came with a wireless mouse, everything has been fine until last night.

After about ten minutes of use, the mouse gets finicky then stops working completely.

When I go to mouse properties it tells me:
    -Battery Level is good
    -Signal Quality is high
    -Driver is up to date
-It says Device Status: Device is working properly.

I've tried putting the USB reciever into different USB Ports and it doesn't fix it.

    Help?

Check in the BIOS to see that the USB is set for 2.0, and at high speed, rather than full speed.

OK, i just checked and the mouse's battery level all of the sudden changed from High to Critically Low, so that may be the issue.

Yes. I don't much trust mouse software, especially in regards to battery monitoring. I use 15 minute rechargeable batteries, and keep charged spares on hand, and if a mouse acts up, I first change the battery.
