Need advice on laptops.. I am maybe going to get a laptop but was wondering which is better. My price range is pretty low so I have found 3 possibilities.
1. Lenovo N500
- 15.4" WXGA LCD
- Intel celeron 2.0Ghz
- 1GB DDR Ram
- 160 GB HDD
- Intel GMA 4500M
- Bluetooth, lan, Wi-fi, webcam
2. HP Compaq NX558
- 15.6" HD Bright LCD
- AMD Athlon x2 Dual core 2.1GHZ
- 1GB DDR Ram
- 160GB HDD
- ATI Radeon HD 3250 Graphics
- bluetooth, lan, wi-fi, webcam
3. Gigabyte Q1580L-A71DZA
- 15.4" WXGA Glare type LCD
- Intel Celeron M585 2.16GHZ
- 1GB DDR2 800 Ram
- 160GB HDD
- Intel GMA 4500M
- Lan, Wi-Fi, webcam
Which of these is better for light gaming? Also what pixel shader and memory does the Intel GMA 4500M and the ATI Radeon HD 3250 have? | My System Specs |

I'm not a gaming expert, but you gotto want more RAM than 1Gb. Not to mention the display size needs to be bigger, but depends on what games i suppose. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Lenovo ThinkPad T60 OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit CPU GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM) DuoCore T2400 @ 1.83GHz Motherboard Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family) Memory 2.00 GB Graphics Card Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Sound Card SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio Monitor(s) Displays ThinkPad Display Screen Resolution 1400x1050 Keyboard Standard Keyboard Mouse HID-compliant Mouse Hard Drives 100Gb SATA Internet Speed Cable Broadband - 54Mbps Other Info Intel(R) PRO/1000 PL Network Connection

I dont mean games like crysis, gta4 and stuff like that. More like nfs most wanted, resident evil 4, call of duty 2 etc. Im not sure but I think those laptops are better than my desktop pc because I only have a Geforce fx5500 and a 2ghz processor and 1.5gb ram. I would get extra ram for the laptop if I get it.
I am getting the laptop for christmas so I cant really choose the budget.
My friend has a Lenovo N500 and can play The Club, Most Wanted and other games on it. | My System Specs | | Computer type Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number Acer V3-551G OS Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit CPU AMD Quad-Core A8-4500M with Turbo Core up to 2.80GHz Memory 8 GB DDR 3 Graphics Card AMD Radeon HD 7640G + 7670M (2GB dedicated VRAM) Sound Card AMD HD Audio device / Realtek HD Audio Monitor(s) Displays 15.6" HD LED Screen Resolution 1366 x 768 (32bit) Hard Drives 1 TB HDD Antivirus AVG 2013 free edition Browser Google Chrome Other Info WEI scores:

If you don't mind you can always get last gen hardware. for example: http://www.laptopcloseout.ca/canada/en-us/dept_1.html
they have the IBM T42 for $350, but when my sister got hers it cost $1600. it's still a good laptop but not sure about the gaming ability. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Apple 17" iMac MA199LL (Early 2006) OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (upgrade) CPU 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo Memory 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300) (upgrade) Graphics Card ATI Radeon X1600 with 128MB GDDR3 memory Monitor(s) Displays 17-inch TFT active-matrix LCD, millions of colors Screen Resolution 1440 x 900 Keyboard Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 Mouse Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse v2.0 Hard Drives Hitachi 320GB HDT721032SLA360 7200RPM SATA II (upgrade) Internet Speed 4 Mbps Antivirus Microsoft Security Essentials Browser Google Chrome Other Info WEI:

The T42 is a very old product. and i would not buy an IBM/Lenovo old/refurbished product. I am using T60 and it's 2 years old. Buy new is best. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Lenovo ThinkPad T60 OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit CPU GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM) DuoCore T2400 @ 1.83GHz Motherboard Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family) Memory 2.00 GB Graphics Card Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Sound Card SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio Monitor(s) Displays ThinkPad Display Screen Resolution 1400x1050 Keyboard Standard Keyboard Mouse HID-compliant Mouse Hard Drives 100Gb SATA Internet Speed Cable Broadband - 54Mbps Other Info Intel(R) PRO/1000 PL Network Connection
