Diagnosing which device connects and disconnects

I keep hearing the Device connects and disconnects windows sounds and need to find out how which device is connecting and disconnecting.

I tried using one of the troubleshooting wizards with no luck.

Isn't there some WIN 7 system diagnostic tool that could help diagnose what device is causing these system sounds?
