Supposidly SSC ver 4.30 works with all versions of Windows .... you might have to run it in compatibility mode but its worth a try.

Download SSC Service Utility 4.30 - Epson printers

Soz haven't tested it myself so I'm unsure

    Win 7 x32 - CD\DVD printing on R210 workaround

Hi, thought I'd point out that normal printing seems to work with the native Win 7 drivers (and had no trouble displaying ink levels, but have now installed sscserve just so I can take control of things ... but you will find that you cannot print on CD/DVD disks anymore ... my solution: install the driver for XP SP3 from the Epson site. The Epson Print CD application will report that the CD writing function is unavailable when you try to print on a loaded CD ... but ignore this - set the paper source to Tray 2, the feed to Manual ... and it works (you may need to fiddle with ink loading settings, it seems a bit over-inked, but this may have always been the case). The process generates a printer paper feed error as it completes, which is annoying, but at least it prints. Cheers.

To view ink levels for Epson R210 printer with Windows 7

To all who are having problems with Epson R210 printer not showing ink levels on computers running Windows 7. The answer is very simple and should have been provided by Epson - their tech support being less than helpful.
    1. Uninstall the printer
    2. Resart the computer.
    3. Connect the printer to the computer and turn it on.
    4. Windows will load the correct drivers.
    5. Once installed, right click on the printer and go to 'Printing Preferences' and click on the 'Get Ink Levels' button.

    Good luck.

Epson R210 CD print with Windows 7

I had the same problem and rang Epson Australia who put me through to tech support. This time the support person was excellent and advised that the driver wasn't available from Epson Australia, but if I gave him my email address he would send me the correct link to download the driver. It now works perfectly. I have copied the link below. The CD print driver is down the page a bit - about 3rd or 4th. I can't remember.
