    Hello Carl,

Can you go into Device Manager and make sure that your USB and chipset drivers are up-to-date?

    Thanks,

    Hi Jonathan,

We have checked our USB and chipset drivers in Device Manager and all are up-to-date.

Your assistance would be highly appreciated.

Has the pen drive ever worked with that machine before? Did the 7 machine have XP on it previously?

Do you have another pen drive you can test in your 7 machine?

Try installing Teracopy and copying the files to the drive. Does that fail too?

    Thanks for your quick reply.

This Pen drive has worked with this system when I was running XP and VISTA.

I have recently upgraded my system to Window 7 after comprehensive hardware upgrade.

Unfortunately, I do not have any other USB pen drive. However, will try to obtain it from friends and will revert to you with the outcome.

Thanks once again for all the help.

    Regards

Hello everybody and sorry for the necroposting. Did anyone solved this? I have 3 guesses
    1) It's seven 64 bit
    2) It's the AMD 7X0 chipset
    3) 1 and 2 together

I can tell this after many try, i run a pc-repair store and i experienced this:
On a asrock mobo with nvidia chipset and w7 32 my 2 pendrives (kingston 16gb both) work fine. Instead, on two different pc both asus (a m4a77td pro and a m4a88t-v evo, so AMD 770 chipset and w64 installed on both) i can't write files bigger than 50Mb.
    Is there a solution?
