Logitech MX518 Gameing mouse?

Looking at the MX518, Logitech seems to have drivers for 7 from their support page. Search here seems to indicate Vista drivers under compatability are ok. Local Bestbuy has them so I can see if the buttons get in the way, but I'm more concerned if anyone has had any driver or conflicts with this mouse using productivity software or otherwise? And what pros / cons on the included software for games. Yes newegg has them cheaper but a 10 minute drive beats days for an rma.
