| | Buying a netbook. So I've decided to purchase a netbook. Anyone try to install windows 7? I'd like to see if it will work. I am thinking of a MSI wind, they come stock with 1gb RAM and 160gb HD. I will be upgrading the HD to a warp 2.5 32gb or 64gb drive, and adding an additional 1gb of ram as this netbook will accept regular 2.5inch HD's and has one empty slot for RAM, allowing for up to 2gb maximum. Any downsides? I will be testing games, I am thinking sins of a solar empire, I do think I will have difficulty with the resolution but looking forward to the challenge. I know quake engine games work well with the resolution. Too bad I can't find a decent netbook with over 1024x600 resolution. |
