I have Phenom II X4 965 i really need to keep my pcu cooler what would people recommend ? .

bought a corsair hydro h50 two weeks ago for my x4 940 black edition--at stock speed (3ghz) idle temps were 26c and load temps via prime 95 were 39c

Not really, an E8400 is old even clocked higher. I'd prefer my Phenom 550 Black Edition @ 3.1GHz stock anyday. As for the cooler, something from Noctua - just make sure it fits your socket.

No offense taken. All I can see on the first post is the header, "cpu cooling", and the words "I have" . So I figured maybe the poster hit enter too early, and decided to poke a little fun. No malice was intended.
