External eSATA and Express Cards for W7

I've looked on a lot of places (mainly ebay)
and all the eSATA HD and express cards say they are compatible
with vista and previous OS but do not list w7.

I messaged someone regarding the express card with 2 eSATA ports
and asked if it was compatible with w7 and they said no.

I wanted to ask if there are any express cards and eSATA harddrives
    which are compatible with w7.

I've got a seagate 3.5 inch 3.0 gb 7200 RPM NCQ Hard drive inside an ASTONE external enclosure - It connects with either USB or Esata, and it works great. I think seagate drives are good with W7 the ones that end in AS are the best value for money eg. ST3500320AS. Note hard drives are mostly compatible with all OS 's Manufactures cant afford to get them all tagged with a W7 Compatible logo.

Go here you can have a look at all the angles whether its for mobile 2.5 INCH or pc 3.5 inch -MWAVE is probably available in your country.

With express cards go the manufactures site - support - downloads - and see if it has drivers that support W7. If you just want one with one with usb and esata ports - i think you will find some on the above site - if they dont need drivers they should be ok with W7.
Check the manufactures site - products etc for support details - type the name in your browsers address bar and press enteror follow the links from any online shop if they dont supply enough details.

If so, once the HDD is inside the External Enclosure do i then connect

Yes I think you have it figured correctly, ie if you cant get the combo - buy both the external enclosure and the 2.5 inch hard drive - you chose the external enclosure that supports both esata and usb so you have the concept correct - happy shopping.
