    Loose Sata Cable

The sata cable that I ordered doesn't plug into my hard drive very well. Just little force can unplug it from the drive.

    I ordered this cable:

Newegg.com - Rosewill 18" Serial ATA II cable with metal latch, Model RC-18"-SA2-90-BK, Black - Cables

    It doesn't like this drive:

Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Any tips to keeping the cable plugged in?

    Hello Nikolay,

Strange, I suppose good old vinyl electrical tape should be able to hold in place on the drive until you can find a cable that connects better.

What do you mean that it doesn't like that drive? I use number of cables like that with clips and have have no trouble with them on my WD drives.
