Looking for a good external enclosure/drive

Has anybody got this (Antec MX-1)

    Newegg.com - Antec MX-1 USB2.0 & eSATA External Enclosure - External Enclosures

If so, do you like it? Any other suggestions? I want eSATA BUT I would like the freedom of not needing an external power source. Am I stuck with USB? I could go USB3...but it will be a while before I upgrade to a new motherboard, and there aren't many USB3 devices out yet.

Are there eSATA drives that DON'T need to be "plugged in" I am going crazy looking for the perfect external. It does not need to be an enclosure, but it seems it would be nice.

    Thanks for any good suggestions.

I haven't seen that one ... but I might have a cool cheap alternative.

docking station for 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDD

I use this only cost 16 squid

Has 3 usb connections on the front, eSATA on the back. Hot plugable takes both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDD's. (Unfortunately has an external power supply)
    Works fine with Win 7.

P.S. even though it says "Takes up to 1TB HDD, I've plugged in a 2TB and it worked fine"

Oh, that looks like a good idea. I could run my SSDs in it too...Thanks for the tip.

If anyone knows anything about this one. I think I am going to buy it. Looks pretty good.

eSATA and USB. Comes with an eSATA bracket. (I don't need but good touch and may come in handy) and takes 3.5 and 2.5 in drives.

If you know anything about this device let me know.
