    Steelseries 3H USB & windows 7

When I connect my new headset (Steelseries 3H USB) to my computer it says that it does not recognize the usb device. I try to install the driver, but it then asks to plug the headset in, which I've already done. The led lights up, so I don't think the headset is broke. Can anyone help me so that I can actually use the headset? I found FAQ - SteelSeries - Does your software support windows 7?
Which implies that my headset is not compatible with Windows 7. If someone knows a solution to my problem, I would be very thankful for I am puzzled.

Do you mean you've had the headset plugged in the whole time?
If so, unplug head phones. Uninstall drivers reboot, reinstall drivers
and plug back in head phones when prompted.

Did what you said. Still doesn't work. Any other ideas? I'm getting frustrated :)
