usb Mass storage device is not working properly.

    yes we dodnt have problem with the devices ..They work properly .But when we safely remove the external drives , the drives still working ...I thing this is a problem ...I saw a lot of people have this issue

    I would check all your settings first and then confirm you have the latest USB drivers for your motherboard... GL :)

    i think that all tha usb drivers are in operating system (windows 7) and they install automaticaly

    Most of my USB drivers came from another source other than MS and were dignity sign by the manufacture... GL :) I like to use DriverMax for my driver source but i do only install the ones from the manufacturer... GL :)

    i cant find any usb drivers in the western digital site ....for my external drive

    The drive itself will use generic Windows 7 drivers. You need to find updated drivers for your USB controller.

    the driver version is 6.1.7600.16385 21/6/2006 .I try to update them , but nothing happened ....What i can do for this ...Please help mates.I try this to my second pc ....(older) and the issue is same

    You need to check with your motherboard manfacturer for the drives.

    For the record, this is not a Win 7 issue. I have 3 systems running 7 and none of them have this problem.
