    monitor is blurry

    Hello everyone,

FYI I am in XP, not 7, just a heads up.

I am seeing a problem I have never seen before. The colors are blurry, especially the taskbar.

I made sure it was not a resolution problem (tried all of the resolutions available) and it is not a refresh rate issue.

Could it be a driver issue? See screenshot.

I saw something like that on an older machine with a video card that was starting to get soft but if the drivers have never been updated or are really old it's worth checking out.

GFX card may very well be going... the machine is quite old. It is not my machine, but I will take another look at it soon.

My old machine had an integrated Intel graphics adapter that started to die. Fortunately decent adapters are pretty cheap.

    Good Luck...

Nah, I know what XP looks like. My #3 machine is running XP.

The computer belongs to someone else, and as soon as I saw it, I did a double-take, almost.

There is also the possibility of a bad configuration in the monitor...

Like what? Could you give me some specific settings that might do this?
