mouse & keyboard settings wont save

Hi!
I have a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, that won't save key or button assignments after shutting down.
I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, and the Logitech driver version 4.8.103.0
( worked fine with XP-Pro SP3 with origional drivers)

I have tried running it under emulation with administrative rights, for Vista, and with service packs 1&2 and Windows server 2008, those being the only options

I'm sure it seemed fine at first, only had the system a week, I wonder if a windows update could be the problem?

Has any one else had a similar problem, or any idea how I might resolve the problem. Thanks in advance, daniel.
