DreemWarrior, how were yo able to find out that this is a socket 478. Just curious because I found nothing on the Acer website.
    Per Intel:

    Intel Celeron 560 @2.13GHz

    Intel® Celeron® Processor 560 (1M Cache, 2.13 GHz, 533 MHz FSB) with SPEC Code(s) SLA2D

Yup.. You can pretty much basically change anything you want to really.

    Money does wonders.. lol ;P

But for real. Yes you pretty much can.
Sorry But when you say that i dont quite understand. so your saying i would be able to go from celron to core 2 duo??? If so can you point me towards the right one.

    Thanks, Deven
Yes as some said here to. Your best bet is just to get a new complete tower for the costs. Right now HP even has units with awesome stats, 4gb Ram 500gb hd, dual core AMD or Intel etc etc.. for like $250 - 340
