    Oh No!! Mouse issue!

Two days ago I successfully updated my windows starter netbook to windows 7 pro. Everything was great until this morning-- now neither my usb mouse of the touch mouse are working at all!

Is this a driver issue? I have the drivers and utilities disk that came with the netbook, but no optical drive, so I'd need to figure out how to get it onto the computer.

    I appreciate any help!

Have you tried remove the mouse, switch off machine, then put mouse back in while machine is off then re-start?

See if it picks up the mouse.

Some laptops have an option to disable the touchpad when a usb mouse is attached. see if turning this off allows you to at least use the touchpad.....you are talking about the touchpad and a USB mouse right?

i was thinking this because the system might be thinking you still have a mouse plugged in so the touchpad is disabled. I had to fix this on my laptop.

You may need batteries if the usb is wireless. Look in the device manager for a yellow question mark

What are your system specs? Is your netbook compatible with Windows 7 Pro?
