Computer just doesn't want to see Ipod
Hey guys,
I know this topic seems to be overused at the moment, but my problem seems to be different from those that i have seen and nothing that i have tried works.
Im running windows 7 pro x64
Well i hadn't connected up my Ipod Touch to my pc for a while because i have an AC wall charger which i use because its easier.
I got some new music and wanted to put it on so i connected my ipod up to my pc. however nothing happened. I dont get anything to acknowledge i just plugged something in, my ipod doesn't start to charge or get the little charging symbol.
Ive tried two different cables now for this and neither of them work on my pc. however, i have tried my ipod on a different computer and that just works fine.
Ive tried re-installing itunes, however, there is no registry in my device manager for my ipod, and nothing i can do seems to let me install one. As it doesnt even recognise i have anything plugged in.
For a split second on a restart i noticed that my ipod started charging for a second or two (it was connected at the time)
Ive tried every troubleshooting guide on the Apple and Microsoft forums and help pages, but to no avail...
Can anyone help here?
