    ipod issue


    just plugged in my ipod and the computer acknowledges something is plugged in (makes sound) but i will SOMETIMES get a balloon that says windows does not recognize the device USB, it says something about a malfunction, just tried it again now it works, do you think i need a new cable or ipod or is my PCs USB ports just not working

    just a few minutes after i posted it found my ipod & synced my nusic

I just got a new pc laptop with windows 7 on it and I have two Ipods that I would like to transfer my music from so I can sync everything together... I am having such a hard time with this! I have an Ipod touch that windows is trying to tell me is a camera and I have a Ipod classic that I haven't...
Question for iPod owners (I dont have one, but thinking about it) When you connect it to your PC can you transfer files from the ipod like a flash drive? Or do you have to use iTunes to transfer music?
