    Sata and IDE CD burners


    Hello all, i am about to purchase a new SATA CD/DVD drive, i currently have a older model IDE CD/DVD drive installed on my new build, i would like to have both drives installed, will there be an issue with both drives installed, what about disk copying? will i be able to copy one disk from the IDE to the SATA drive?, are there anything i should be aware of?.

After completing win7 installation from this DVD drive the built-in win7 drivers for DVD drives has failed. I have 2 of these (same model) and can't use either. When checking for updated drivers the system says "you have the latest drivers". Device manager says driver is corrupt or misssing. SFC...
