    Driver for LG SmartCam?


    Hi!
    I´m looking for a working driver to my stepdaughters web cam (LG SmartCam).
    The web cam is built into a laptop "LG E500-J.APE4V".

    (OS is Windows 7.)

    Did you try going to the manufacturer's site? This seems to be it, go in Uppdatering av mjukvara, select Windows Vista, and download LG Notebook LG Smart Cam Program Ver 1.0007.0818.01. Install it, if you cannot run it normally you should get a popup from Windows 7 asking if it was installed correctly, and offering to run it again with recommended settings. Choose to run with recommended settings and install.

    If the popup does not come up, follow this tutorial to run the installer in compatibility mode for windows Vista.

    If it does not work report back and I'll give further instructions to find a working driver.

    i've lg xd140
    after format i tried to search for camera product but i found nothing
    beside i have installed syberlink yourcam but that doesn't work
    skype or the messenger couldn't turn on the camera
    but in the device manager the camera driver installed and named lenovo
    plz help me
