After i tested my ram with memtest i have 2gb usable

    before doing my memtest everything was perfect and all my memory was usable its just when i was testing they said we cant test all your 4gb at once u have to do it on each 2gb so i did the first one then i am not sure if i closed it in wrong way then that happend :S

    You attached picture shows you have 2 GB set aside for Hardware Reserved. Maybe something did happen when you ran memtest. How exactly did you run it?

    I haven't run it but I notice it allows for a cache to be set aside. Does that number equate to the 2 GB?

    Does your bios have a remapping option?

    Go in the BIOS and remap the memory.

    i ran memtest i typeb 4000 mb start test they said we cant run 4000 at once so put 2000 on each i made the first test 2000 mb only and left it for 30 mins without error then i clicked stop then it took very long time to close so i closed it maybe thats why that happend

    To the OP

    Open device manager and look under Display adapters and see if you have more than one listing there. If you do, then you are sharing memory, most likely, video memory.

    You're BIOS has to be able to support remapping..
