Blackmagic intensity pro HDMI

Anyone tried one of these yet? I have one but I I have not figured out how to run it on my system yet. It installed fine with the latest program and drivers off the Blackmagic website.

Sorry, but I had to Google just to see what it is. How is that better than having a TV tuner with a capture function?

This card actually has an HDMI in and out as well as component in and out. The quality is 1080i not the full 1080p as some would say. So if you have a HD camera/ camcoder then you can burn true HD onto a BD burner. I did find out that this card does not work with the ASUS P6T MB. I wounder if it will work with a X58 board, it says that the intel DX58so MB will not work as well. As I have a Gigabyte GA-X58-UD4P I did not find any info to say it would not work. I do know that this Intensity PCIe board does work in windows 7 64 bit. The odd this is the device says everything is good and working as with the Blackmagic control panel showing up in the hardware and sound selections. It might be something I have set wrong? Not sure.

Well, I found the problem. Even though the website for the company does not mention this! The problem is that this card does not work with the i3, i5,i7 cpu's and with any X58 motherboard. It is the driver problem that the company has to fix.

Oh yes, they will be hearing from me quite frequently!
