SATA Power Connectors

I need to replace the connectors that come standard on power supplies, with the type that self-splice onto the cable. I already have some that I got with some component that I bought long ago, but when I tried to use them, it is impossible to do so without stripping the wire first, because the blades are too tight and dull to pierce the insulation.

I'm wondering if all of these types of connectors are like this or not. I have seen pictures of others that look as though they had been able to use these without stripping first. However, I don't want to have to order and wait on something that's going to be no better than what I have. My only other choice is to strip a length of the wires and then use electrical tape after the connectors are in place, which is not what I would like to do. If anyone know of a source that I can find the quality of connectors that I want, please let me know.

Assuming that the connectors comes without the wires...yes, but I will not go to the egg for this or anything else. I have been Googling, but I think that I'm using the wrong search words. Is there a precise nomenclature for these?

Thanks, but as I was afraid of, that is a cable, not just the connectors. Since my power supply is not modular, the only way that I could use that is to splice the two cables together, which I don't want to do. Also, a cable like that doesn't pemit custom spacing between connectors, nor custom numbers of connectors. For it to work for me, I need spacing of ~1 5/8" and a total of 5 connectors. Beyond that, since my primary rig is down until I find these, I don't want to wait for an international shipment. Thanks anyway.

think they are 4 pin molex connectors as in the pic theog posted :)

No, a regular IDE power connector is also called a 4 pin molex, so that doesn't help.

Wouldn't it be easier to get something like this,

HDMI Cable, Home Theater Accessories, HDMI Products, Cables, Adapters, Video/Audio Switch, Networking, USB, Firewire, Printer Toner, and more!

Try this wording.

No, it is difficult to be certain from the picture, but this appears to be about the same as the cable that I'm attempting to customize. It appears that the connectors are in series with each other, with several inches of cable between them. This causes there to be a bow formed in the cable, and these bows interfere with placement and closing of the cases's side cover. As it was, I could only fasten the cover by laying the case on it's side and forcing the cover down, kind of like an overstuffed suit case. Even then, there was enough pressure to cause the side panel to bow outward slightly.
