This can happen if your flash drive tries to use a drive letter which is already assigned to another drive.

    1) Insert your removable disk into the USB port.

    2) Click Start, right click on Computer, then click on Manage.

    3) Now, click Disk Management.

    4) Right click on your removable drive partition and select Change Drive Letter and Paths under Disk Management

5)Change the drive letter to something like X: or Z: which is not reserved by some other drive on windows.

Well if nothing works, just right click on the drive in Disk management window and click format.

Hi Ajay , Welcome to Seven Forums.

Was that pen drive usable before or is it a new pen drive?

What is the exact model number? What capacity?

Where did you buy it and for how much? Is it under warranty? ( There are many fake Kingston pen drives.)
